The Rolling Stones have announced a 2022 tour, titled “Sixty” to celebrate 60 years together, playing 14 dates across Europe this summer, including two shows at London’s BST Hyde Park.
The band had first teased the March 14 announcement with a series of social media posts that began on March 11.
General on sale starts this Friday, March 18 here.

As he showed in 2021, Jagger is still skipping along on stage, cat-like at 78. Keith Richards is also 78, and Ronnie Wood, the youngest, turns 75 on opening night. They’ll be joined, once again, by drummer Steve Jordan. For several years, the Stones have padded the calendar with extra days off in between shows. The 14 concerts on the 2022 tour span two months.
The band closed the 2021 U.S. edition of their “No Filter” tour with a Nov. 23 performance – and first without Charlie Watts – in Hollywood, Fla.

StonesTour leider nur jun-jul…
For those of you old enough to remember the movie “El Cid,” we’re approaching a similar type ending with Keith out there on a Stones tour. His recent videos with the winos gives pretty much irrefutable evidence that he’s not been able to be a primary guitarist for some time, without significant backup, and Ronnie, who may have been that at one time, is right behind him these days. How long until the Stones use some backup guitar players in the band (if not discreetly already)?
I’d like to see you do what they do when you’re their age!! It’s funny they got rave reviews on the No Filter tour! I thought they played amazing but what do I know I’m 73 and been listening to them for 60 years. There were some guys sitting in front of me when I saw them in Birmingham, Al. in 1990 and he put on an amazing show and they said he was slowing down! He is just as good today as he was 20, 30, 40,50 years ago give them a frigging break!!
