Black Sabbath has added three arena concerts to the final North American leg of their massive 2016 world tour. Nearly five years to the day that the band announced they would be reforming, they will play their last show ever in the U.S. November 12 in San Antonio, TX.
They kicked off the beginning of “The End” in Omaha, Nebraska on January 20, and wrapped up their first leg of North American dates on March 7 in Vancouver to rave reviews. They return to North American audiences in mid-August and before you know it the self-proclaimed “greatest metal band of all time” – Ozzy Osbourne (vocals), Tony Iommi (guitar) and Geezer Butler (bass) – will end the journey they began nearly five decades ago.
The new shows are November 8 at BOK Center in Tulsa, OK, November 10 at Toyota Center in Houston, TX and November 12 at AT&T Center in San Antonio. These dates and the previously announced headlining slot at this year’s 20th anniversary celebration of Ozzfest (September 24 at the Ozzfest Meets Knotfest double-header music and lifestyle weekend) come at the end of the band’s North American tour, which kicks off August 17 in Wantagh, NY.
