Word arrived March 7, 2016, that AC/DC were forced to reschedule the 10 upcoming dates on the U.S. leg of their #RockOrBust World Tour. AC/DC’s lead singer, Brian Johnson, was advised by doctors to stop touring immediately or risk total hearing loss.
Tuesday’s (March 8) show in Atlanta through Madison Square Garden in New York, NY on April 4 will be made up later in the year, likely with a guest vocalist. More information regarding these rescheduled shows to come. Current ticket holders can hold on to their tickets for the rescheduled dates or receive a refund at point of purchase.
This leg of the tour began on February 2 after a massive year for the classic rock band, with them kicking off the 57th Annual Grammy Awards in 2015, headlining at Coachella, and completing 28 shows in Europe, 14 shows in North America and 11 shows in Australia/New Zealand.
November 2014’s Rock or Bust was the band’s first studio album in six years (and second for Columbia Records).
Was this Brian Johnson’s final performance with AC/DC? Here he is singing “Back in Black” at their February 28 show in Kansas City…
