Lynnsey Guerrero grew up in Redondo Beach, California listening to local surf music bands and Top 40 radio. He saw The Beatles on Ed Sullivan at age 10, thoroughly enjoyed the British Invasion, and soon after began reading Rolling Stone magazine and listening to the “underground” music stations emerging on the FM dial. After graduation from UCLA he began a career writing, producing, creating and supervising syndicated music programming for radio stations around the country, researching and writing for a variety of music and non-music documentaries, and as a researcher for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
When Jan & Dean’s music career was tragically cut short, Dean Torrence turned to his visual art skills and became a Grammy-winning album cover designer.
