The album celebrates the music of Detroit and the songs of Ryder’s generation. It includes a new version of “Devil With A Blue Dress On.”

The group will play songs from the extensive list of Tilbrook and Difford favorites as well as rare, lesser-known gems from their back catalogue

Treatment has already begun and has forced the band to cancel most of its shows this year. “I’ve faced obstacles before,” he says

The concerts are in addition to two high profile performances, with Rod Stewart and Eric Clapton, that were previously announced

Eric Clapton credited Gallagher with ‘getting me back into the blues,’ and the Rolling Stones tried to get him to replace Mick Taylor.

The allbum is his first new studio release in 5 years. It includes several musicians including his wife, Patti Scialfa, but no other member of the E Street Band

Frampton, who launches his farewell tour in June, said his new album pays tribute to “all the original artists who invented this incredible music.”
