The Prince of Darkness has added several dozen North American dates to his ambitious calendar, following surgery on his hand

The set follows the Eagles through the different stages of the band’s career, from the country-rock of early albums to their most recent studio album.

Says Mellencamp, “These are songs that have been recorded over the last 40 years of my career, but had never been put together as one piece of work.”

The 15-track set features material from the band’s first two albums, as well as a cover of “Motel Blues” by Loudon Wainwright III.
