Lulu has extended her “Champagne For Lulu” 2024 farewell tour after a sold-out run. Late last year, the beloved Scottish singer scheduled seven U.K. shows for April in such cities as Glasgow, Manchester, and Birmingham, ending with an April 17 concert in London. Each date ultimately sold-out. Today (May 13), she announced another ten dates for her sold out U.K. tour due to demand of fans who wanted to see her farewell show, celebrating 60 years since her cover of the Isley Brothers’ “Shout” was released. A pre-sale for her fan club and Facebook followers begins May 15. Tickets for the general public will be available on May 17 at 9 a.m. local time here. (She’s also on the Aug. 10 bill—along with UB40 ftg Ali Campbell, ABC, Heaven 17, Big Country, and others—for the Let’s Rock Scotland / “Party at the Palace” concert.)
From her Facebook page: 60 years ago it all started. “Shout” was released April 17, 1964 and Lulu has remained at the top of her game. This show features the “pinch me moments” of her outstanding career that spans seven decades, from The Beatles, “To Sir With Love,” David Bowie, the theme song for the James Bond film The Man With the Golden Gun, and more.

The 20-song sets during the initial April run also included covers of songs by Elton John, Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band, the Bee Gees, and Neil Diamond.
Guests on the April dates included the Scottish sensation Nathan Evans, Paul Carrack and Take That.
