The entertainment network REELZ will present Eagles: Breaking the Band this Sunday, April 4, 2021, at 12 a.m. ET / 9 p.m. PT. The one-hour special focuses on some of the factors that caused the band to self-destruct at a time when they were the top selling American band of the classic rock era. The program is narrated by Dee Snider.
Best Classic Bands has an exclusive clip from the program featuring interviews with the band’s legendary guitarist, Joe Walsh, as well as Eagles photographer Henry Diltz, and others. Watch it below.
From the network’s announcement: Founders Glenn Frey and Don Henley had a ruthless ambition for the Eagles and let nothing and nobody stand in their way. Yet after almost a decade together, the band suddenly fell apart. Joe Walsh weighs in on the power struggles and the sex, drugs and rock ’n’ roll lifestyle that eventually caused them to self-destruct.
“There was a point where we could do pretty much anything we wanted, so we did,” says Walsh.
