Graham Nash has released Now, his first new studio album in seven years. The LP arrived May 19, 2023, via BMG. It’s part of a busy year for the music legend who turned 81 on Feb. 2 and began his return to the road this spring. He continues this summer with more performances throughout the U.S. followed by an expanded European tour. And in another welcome bit of news, Nash has collaborated with his former Hollies bandmate, Allan Clarke, on the latter’s album, I’ll Never Forget, that arrived on April 7.
Nash’s 2023 tour—which he’s calling Sixty Years of Songs and Stories—marks the 60th anniversary of Nash’s first single with the Hollies, one of the leaders of the British Invasion of the 1960s, and includes multiple night residencies in several cities. Additionally, in June and July Nash will be revisiting his western U.S. tour dates that were previously postponed due to Covid. See below for a list of upcoming dates.
Now, which Nash describes as “the most personal album I’ve recorded,” is his first new studio album since 2016’s This Path Tonight. His most recent live album, Graham Nash: Live, features Nash performing his first two critically acclaimed solo albums, Songs For Beginners and Wild Tales, in their entirety, recorded on tour in the Northeastern U.S. in September 2019.

The album also includes “Buddy’s Back,” a tribute to the rock ‘n’ roll great that the Hollies were named after. The track, pairing Nash and Clarke, was the first song released from Clarke’s upcoming album. Nash describes Clarke as “my oldest friend.” They met when they were six.
In addition to his two Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductions (with Crosby, Stills and Nash and the Hollies), he was inducted twice into the Songwriters Hall of Fame as well—as a solo artist and with CSN—and he is also a Grammy Award winner.
Now is available for order here. “I called this album ‘Now’ because that’s what this work is,” Nash says. “It’s me. Now. In this moment in my life. It’s no small thing getting to be my age. It’s not easy. I wanted this work to show that even when you reach this point in your life you feel no less creative or passionate about what you do, and how you exist in the world.”

I wonder if he will have a band with him or just a guitar accompanist?
He hasn’t said, but our guess is the guitarist he uses regularly.
I wish he never left the Hollies. A much better and likable and poppier band than C, S, N. Imho.
