In a recent Facebook post, the classic hard rock band posted: “Australia! #GnFnR are heading down under in 2017 with the #NotInThisLifetime Tour! #GNROz.” The post also included five dates in five different cities with the first show being held at QSAC Stadium in Brisbane on Feb. 7 and then wrapping up February 21 at the Domain Stadium in Perth.
The Not In This Lifetime Tour marks the first time since their 1993 tour, Use Your Illusion, that Slash, Duff McKagan and Axl Rose have all played together as Guns N’ Roses.
Currently finishing up the North American leg of the tour, GNR close it Monday (August 22) at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego. Earlier this year, they played at Coachella and sold out two nights at the 66,000-plus venue Foro Sol, located in Mexico City. The band has been on the road since the tour kicked off in Detroit back in June and has since been playing its way around most major regions in the U.S.
After the San Diego show, GNR will head to South America and play 12 dates starting in Lima, Peru, before making their way to San Jose, Costa Rica, to play a final show. From there, they will travel to Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan, on Jan. 21. Then, it’s off to Tokyo for two nights of shows at the Saitama Super Arena on Jan. 28-29, before heading down under for two dates in New Zealand.
Pre-sales for the Japan shows have ended for members of the Nightrain fan club. The general public ticket sales will start September 25. Pre-sale for the Australian dates, for both Nightrain members and VIP packages, began on August 19, while the public general sale will take place on August 26. For complete information, visit here.
