We’re still more than two months away from when pitchers and catchers report to spring training but James Taylor is getting ready to join the boys of summer on the ball fields. The much-honored singer-songwriter will play four concerts with his All-Star Band at ballparks across the U.S. in Summer 2017. Joining Taylor onstage at some of America’s most beloved baseball stadiums will be special guest Bonnie Raitt.
Four concerts have been scheduled so far with room for plenty more to be added. The current list includes such iconic stadiums as Boston’s Fenway Park and Chicago’s Wrigley Field. Tickets here.
Taylor is among a handful of entertainers who received 2016 Kennedy Center Honors on December 4. (Others include the Eagles, Mavis Staples and Al Pacino.) The event will be broadcast December 27 on CBS. The 68-year-old has been taking home a lot of hardware lately; he received the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2015.
