A few weeks ago we told about Jon Bon Jovi‘s “Ultimate Music Lovers Weekend” in Austin, TX, and now the rock star’s got another exciting getaway in the making. His latest Runaway Tours package consists of three days and two nights in Dublin, Ireland, from Thursday, July 21st through Saturday, July 23rd. As an added incentive to get your hands on one of the extremely limited packages – this is reportedly the star’s only appearance in Europe this year.
The trip to Dublin follows recent getaways to Austin, Nashville and last year’s resort weekend with Jon in the Bahamas . The same company has put together such events not only with with Bon Jovi (the company name implies that he’s involved in the venture) but also his former bandmate Richie Sambora as well as an upcoming Don Henley resort trip in Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX. Guests get to stay in a luxurious hotel – one is already sold-out and another is near-capacity – plus tickets to attend a private acoustic/storyteller show at The Academy in Dublin. Along the way, there are plenty of parties, photo ops, tours, autographed swag and more. Plus… it’s in scenic Dublin – quite the getaway for U.S. fans, and a cool opportunity for Bon Jovi’s Irish and European followers.
For more details about packages and pricing, visit the Runaway Tours official website. Tickets went on sale April 12th, and these limited capacity events where the artist and fans get to spend quality, up-close time together do sell out.
In other Bon Jovi news, the singer and his band are set to release their 14th album, This House Is Not For Sale, sometime this year. We don’t know yet what the specific date will be, but the classic rocker did offer up a few tidbits in a press conference – namely, that the LP was recorded in the same studio where the rock band cut “Runaway” in 1982. Can a full 2017 North American tour be far behind? Seems like it. We’ll keep you posted.
