Ozzy Osbourne went public today (August 3) about his sex addiction after a woman who claims to have been his former mistress told People Magazine today that the Black Sabbath star was “the greatest love of my life.” Michelle Pugh, described as a “celebrity hair colorist,” told the magazine, “When I say he gave me the greatest love of my life, I mean it.” According to an exclusive story in People, Osbourne pursued Pugh a year after she first colored the rocker’s hair in 2011. “He made me feel like the most beautiful and worshipped woman in the world,” she says in the article.
Today, Ozzy took to social media with his revelation and praised his “incredible wife” Sharon for her support: “Over the last 6 years, I have been dealing with a sex addiction.
I’m sorry if Ms. Pugh took our sexual relationship out of context. I’d also like to apologize to the other women I have been having sexual relationships with.
Out of bad comes good.
Since the press exposed this I have gone into intense therapy.
I am mortified at what my behavior has done to my family. I thank God that my incredible wife is at my side to support me.”
The classic rock legend has insisted, the People article says, that, “The relationship with Pugh was a purely physical one that resulted from his sex addiction.”
According to the People piece, an unnamed representative of Ozzy, 67, has given the following statement in light of Pugh’s revelation: “He is sorry if Ms. Pugh took their sexual relationship out of context. He would like to apologize to the other women he has been having sexual relationships with. Since his relationship with Ms. Pugh was exposed, Ozzy has gone into intense therapy.”
The magazine reported further that Pugh, whose age is not revealed, maintains that Ozzy was “unhappy” in his marriage to Sharon Osbourne and “consistently and willingly and generously” gave her “his love.” Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne have been married for 33 years.

According to People, Pugh said, “What attracted me to him? Chemistry. We just had it. It’s that indescribable thing in life, and you can’t deny it. And he didn’t.” The report insists that the two connected “on an emotional level” as well as having a physical relationship, discussing their “shared passions” for painting, history and current events. “My relationship was more with this really nice, sweet, funny and cool guy … John from England,” Pugh is quoted as saying, adding that she is no longer in touch with Osbourne, although she still loves him. “I’m not ashamed. I fell in love with a man that gave me the love I never knew I could receive,” she said.
