Peter Cetera’s decade-long output that he recorded for Full Moon / Warner Bros. will be the subject of a new box set. Love, Glory, Honor & Heart: The Complete Full Moon & Warner Bros. Recordings, 1981-1992, a 6-CD collection that includes the back-to-back #1 singles “Glory of Love” and “The Next Time I Fall,” arrives June 4, 2021 in the U.S., one week after its U.K. release, via Cherry Red Records.
During those years, Cetera recorded four solo albums – Peter Cetera (1981), Solitude/Solitaire (1986), One More Story (1988), World Falling Down (1992) – all released during and after his time as a member of the groundbreaking group Chicago. The new box set contains deluxe editions of each of the four albums.
Cetera released 16 singles from 1981 through 1992. These include “Glory Of Love (Theme From The Karate Kid, Part II)” (U.S. #1, U.K. #3), a duet with Amy Grant on “The Next Time I Fall” (U.S. #1), “One Good Woman” (U.S. #4), “Restless Heart” (U.S. #35 Hot 100, U.S. #1 Adult Contemporary), a duet with Chaka Khan on “Feels Like Heaven” (U.S. #5 Adult Contemporary), “Even a Fool Can See” (U.S. #3 Adult Contemporary) and a duet with Cher on “After All (Love Theme From Chances Are)” (U.S. #6 Hot 100, US #1 Adult Contemporary).
Guest appearances also include David Gilmour (on “You Never Listen to Me”), Madonna (on “Scheherazade”), Bonnie Raitt (“Save Me”), Paul Anka, and others.
The audio in this collection has been remastered from the original master tapes stored in the Warner Bros. archives. The box includes a 48-page full color book featuring photos, an illustrated discography, a complete set of lyrics, and comprehensive credits.
Bonus tracks include singles versions of many of the hits, an extended version of “I Wasn’t the One (Who Said Goodbye),” a duet with Abba’s Agnetha Fältskog, previously unreleased mixes of “Body Language (There in the Dark)” done by Shep Pettibone, and more.
