The final concert of Ringo Starr’s 2019 tour with his All-Starr Band is being released on Nov. 25, 2022, on CD, DVD and Blu-ray. The collection features 24 performances from Starr, along with a lineup that included many classic rock legends leading the band on their own well known hits. The Sept. 1, 2019 concert at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles took place nearly 30 years to the day when the inaugural All Starrs completed their first tour on September 3, 1989.
The 2019 edition of the band featured Toto’s Steve Lukather, Men at Work’s Colin Hay, Santana and Journey’s Gregg Rolie, Warren Ham, Gregg Bissonette and the Average White Band’s Hamish Stuart. They were joined for the finale by such friends as Joe Walsh and Nils Lofgren (who were part of the original All Starr Band), plus Jim Keltner, Edgar Winter, Richard Page and Eric Carmen.

From the Oct. 5 official announcement: From its inception and first tour in 1989 with the inaugural All Starr lineup – Walsh, Dr. John, Billy Preston, Rick Danko and Levon Helm from The Band, Clarence Clemons and Lofgren from Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, and session drum legend Jim Keltner–until the current and 15th iteration on tour now – Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band, who he has called “the best 1-800-band in the land,” deliver shows packed with hits that continue to delight audiences around the world.
“Don’t Pass Me By” was the first song ever written by Ringo, and it was first recorded with, and released by, the Beatles on November 22, 1968. He shared the clip from the 2019 concert performance, 54 years later to the day.

Saw four tours of Ringo’s all star band. Awesome shows. Saw Todd, Eric, Nils, Joe, B. Cummings, D. Edmunds, R. Bachman, M. Farner, F. Cavaliere et all in those shows. Great lineups every time.
