Roger Daltrey has announced a 2024 solo tour of the U.S., a mostly acoustic set of “Who gems, rarities, solo nuggets and other surprises” with an intimate rock-based band and setting as well as answering questions from the audience. The eleven-date run begins June 10, with special guest KT Tunstall for some of the others and Dan Bern for others. Tickets are available here.
When he announced a similar tour in 2022, Daltrey said, βThe truth is singers need to sing. Use it or lose it.” The powerhouse vocalist turned 80 on March 1.
The band for the 2024 dates will be Simon Townshend (guitar), Billy Nichols (mandolin), Jody Linscott (percussion), Doug Boyle (guitar), John Hogg (bass), Katie Jacoby (violin), Steve Weston (harmonica), Geraint Watkins (keyboards, accordion), and Scott Devours (drums).
Watch the always-entertaining “Guv’nor” perform a favorite from his 1973 debut solo album in 2023

Thanks for sharing the Roger Daltrey tour.
Its unfortunate that dates for U.S. tour got nicked.
His autobiography is a trip, at what he has achieved over a 50 year span. It’s a
eye opener into the synergy of his bandmates! They were all characters.
Would love to see him tour in the states!
Thanks a Lot, Mr. Kibblewhite (there’s a name for a band!) is a scream. Anyway, Anyhow, Anywhere is a good history of the band.
