The Rolling Stones have released Bridges To Buenos Aires, a previously unreleased concert film from their Bridges to Babylon Tour. The new title, which arrived on Nov. 8, has been completely restored, remixed and remastered. This latest title from Eagle Rock Entertainment’s Rolling Stones archive series is available on DVD + 2-CD, Blu-ray + 2-CD, digital video, limited edition blue translucent 180g triple vinyl, and digital audio. Watch several clips below.
Bridges to Buenos Aires captures the complete show from April 5, 1998, the last date of the band’s five-night sell-out residency at the River Plate Stadium in Argentina’s capital city. Without introduction, Bob Dylan, guitar in hand, joined the band on stage to sing “Like A Rolling Stone” with Jagger.
For over two hours, the Stones performed such classics as “Gimme Shelter,” “Sympathy For the Devil,” “Brown Sugar” and “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” as well as then-new songs from Bridges to Babylon.
The concert film has been meticulously restored from the original master tapes, and the audio remixed and remastered from the live multitrack recordings.
