A tour of many popular bands of the ’80s has been expanded for the 2024 U.S. and Canada summer season. Totally Tubular Festival tour will include Thomas Dolby, Thompson Twins’ Tom Bailey, Modern English, Men Without Hats, the Romantics, Bow Wow Wow, the Plimsouls, and Tommy Tutone (in select markets). Five new dates were added to the schedule on Feb. 12, bringing the total to 22 shows. Tickets go on sale Feb. 16 here.
The original tour announcement notes: Fans can look forward to singing along and dancing to live performances of chart-topping classics like “She Blinded Me With Science,” “Hold Me Now,” “I Melt With You,” “The Safety Dance,” “What I Like About You,” “I Want Candy,” “867-5309/Jenny,” and “A Million Miles Away.” Each night will be a nostalgic celebration of the era that reshaped the musical landscape.

When i saw the name Totally Tubular Festival, i thought it has something to do with the Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield. I was wrong!
