With their third nomination for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame recently announced, The Zombies will return to the U.S. tour trail right after the new year, with dates continuing into late March. The band, still led by original singer Colin Blunstone and keyboardist Rod Argent, is best known for its top 10 ’60s hits “She’s Not There,” “Tell Her No” and “Time of the Season.”
The Zombies have recently been recreating their landmark album Odessey and Oracle in concert in celebration of its 50th anniversary. For those dates original Zombies Hugh Grundy (drums) and Chris White (bass) have rejoined Blunstone and Argent. Although the group insisted that the recent O&O performances would mark the final time the album would be performed in its entirety live, it’s a fair bet that they will continue to play at least some of the material from it in future shows.
